I am Currently staying in Mumbai, got Photon+ a week back. I would say only one word ‘Amazing’. I dont think even the wired connection has this much speed and uninterrupted connectivity. The average time taken to download 1MB file is simply 10-15 seconds. I have tried working and different timings a day and it never slows down. The customer service is also good that i have changed my Plan in 24 hours. The bill payment is also really simple through online payment. The device costs 3500/- and installation took 5 days. Amazing service i have ever seen, now i am recommending my Friends and relatives to buy the same.
this is great to use but if the speed is some how managed to increase up to 5 then it is more useful
I got photon few days back. There are lot of issues with connectivity and working speeds. I am regretting now thinking Reliance Net Connect would have been better. I would advise people to stay away from it.

Worst service!, I never got 1 Mbps speed, when u call to customer care they give different steps each time to refresh cookies, temp internet files, reset logs etc.. but nothing works.Download speeds are only 10 – 12 kbps, Using speedtest.net and mcafee internet speed test shows only 60 Kbps speed…Dont buy TATA Photon

Tata photon+ is the worst thing that i have ever come across.my downloading speed is never above 25kbps. dont evr take photon connection in ur life they are not providing the speed as shown so proudly in ad and everywhere,they are biggest liar fraud and even the customer service know noting,poor technician. technician knows only how to clean temp file,prefetch files n bootin up. the list is endless. fooling around with the customers bloody fuckin TATA p+

tata photon plus average speed is 500kbps….it will not exceed more than that and wen compared to the speed its really waste paying thousand rupees simply
It’s a Modus operandi. Not even 300 KBPS i am getting during nights. All i can say is a hype. 3.1 MBPS no way. I think it is 3.1 kbps for opening Google.

Even though Tata Indicom says the PHOTON is compatible with Mac OS X and that it works fine, I have not been able to use it with my Mac Book Pro. Calling the Tata Indicom Helpline is such a waste of Time, effort, Energy and Money…… they just do’nt understand the issue and only keep repeating a stadard line of ” The Photon is compatible for use on Mac OS X”…….. Well !! If only someone at Tata Indicom appreciates the problem and is serious enough to help resolve the problem, would this piece of Hardware be of any use to me. I have already directed all at my Office to stay away from Tata Indicom’s Photon.
As they say, one’s loss is another’s gain !! Well, their closest competitor in this Product range, are just about to get a huge business of more than 100 + connections from only one company, ours !!
