The glossy showroom on Galle Road is very deceptive. My first problem arose when I was told by the Airtel salesman that the reception is my area was 'good' but when I purchased the product and tried to use it at home found it very slow. I returned later was told the reason for my extremely slow service was 'poor coverage in your area'. Bills not delivered, incorrect billing and a very poor manner by the Manager that did not resolve any of the issues made the experience even worse. Dialog is a much better deal and better experience. I am a medical student of faculty of medicine, university of peradeniya.A special broad band package was offered by the Dialog broad band, to university students, last year. it cost 1500 LKR as the monthly charge.It was a high speed wireline connection of 7.2 MBs , up to 6gbs, then on one gets an unlimited 64 kbs speed(one can request for extra high speed,100 LKR per every remaining day of the month).Obviously lots of students flocked around dialog.However the coverage is not that great, and can do with improvements.still it was unlike anything we had seen before.We hope you also would have great packages in store for our community.
